A total of 22 firms will be recognized for their contributions to the industrial sector and fostering creativity with prestigious awards. Industries ministry will confer these awards, as announced in a gazette notification published on June 6, listing the winners.
Among them, 21 firms will receive the “National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award 2022” across six categories, while one firm will be honored with the “Institutional Appreciation Award 2022”.
In the “Large Industry” category, 10 firms including EchoTex, Fakir Fashion, Square Fashions, Green Textile, Ispahani Tea, Nuvista Pharma, and Banga Building Materials will receive awards.
In the “Medium Industry” category, five firms, including FGS Denim Wear and Biopharma, will be awarded.
In the “Small Industry” category, three firms, including Sheltech Holdings and Rangpur Foundry, will be awarded.
Additionally, Masco Dairy Enterprise will be recognized in the micro category, Rupkatha Fashion in the cottage industry category, and Carew & Co (Bangladesh) in the state-owned category.
Moreover, the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry will receive the “Institutional Appreciation Award 2022”.
