Bangladesh government announced the recipients of the National Export Trophy for fiscal 2021-22, with Rifat Garments Ltd securing the prestigious Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Export Trophy for the second consecutive year. This recognition is bestowed upon exporters who achieve the highest export proceeds annually.
Rifat Garments, a part of Ha-Meem Group, is among 77 exporters across 28 categories honored for their significant contributions to Bangladesh’s export earnings and overall economy. The awards, categorized as gold, silver, and bronze, were distributed to 28 firms for gold, 27 for silver, and the remaining for bronze. Bangladesh’s exports amounted to $52 billion in fiscal 2021-22, marking a nearly 7% increase from the previous year’s $55 billion, as reported by the Export Promotion Bureau.
