29th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will commence on January 1, 2025 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal. Will be inaugurated by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, the month-long event is organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
This year’s fair features 361 stalls and pavilions, with exhibitors from Bangladesh and seven other countries, including 11 foreign businesses. Entry fees remain Tk 50 for adults and Tk 25 for children under 12.
Preparations are nearly complete, with the fair themed around the spirit of the July Movement. The EPB has constructed three pavilions reflecting this theme, aiming to attract more visitors than in previous years.
Shuttle services with 50 buses will transport attendees, and the 28th DITF reported a 17% increase in export orders, totaling Tk 392 crore, signaling optimistic prospects for this year.
