Vietnam’s textile upgrading opens new sourcing opportunities at VIATT 2027

Vietnam’s textile and garment industry is creating new opportunities for international suppliers of fabrics, raw materials, machinery and sustainable technologies as manufacturers move towards higher value-added production.
Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT 2027) will take place on February 24–26 in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together manufacturers, brands, sourcing offices, retailers and industry buyers from Vietnam, ASEAN and other markets.
Vietnamese manufacturers are gradually moving beyond cut-make-trim (CMT) operations towards original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original design manufacturing (ODM). The transition is driving demand for advanced materials, production technologies, digital solutions and environmentally responsible manufacturing.
VIATT 2027 will showcase three major sectors: Apparel Fabrics & Fashion, Home & Contract Textiles, and Technical Textiles & Technologies. The apparel segment will feature fashion fabrics, fibres, yarns, accessories, functional materials and garment manufacturing solutions.
The exhibition will also introduce a Fashion Manufacturing Hub and international showcases, including the European Zone. Fashion shows, product displays and workshops are expected to support product promotion and sourcing opportunities.
The event aims to connect overseas suppliers with Vietnam’s evolving textile industry as manufacturers seek to improve efficiency, product quality, design capabilities and sustainability performance.
