Cosmostar Singapore Private Limited (“Cosmo Group”), a Singapore-headquartered developer and manufacturer of technical textiles and material solutions for the global footwear industry, and Sunfeng International Pte. Ltd. (“Sunfeng”), a Suzhou-headquartered innovator in functional fabrics and performance textile technologies, have entered into a joint venture agreement to establish Cosmo Sunfeng Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“Cosmo Sunfeng”), a strategic joint venture established as a key part of Cosmo Group’s long-term strategy to expand its advanced materials platform across both footwear and apparel markets.

The company also announced the appointment of Ryan Chang as Managing Director, Renee Henry as Sales Director, United States, and Zoltan Kelemen as Sales Director, Europe, forming the leadership team responsible for driving Cosmo Sunfeng’s international growth and commercial expansion.
Ryan reports to Mark Griffie, Chairman of the Board of Cosmo Sunfeng. Renee and Zoltan report to Mark Yardley, Senior Vice President, Americas and EMEA Sales at Cosmo Group, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to Ryan in his role as Managing Director of Cosmo Sunfeng.

Cosmo Group contributes more than four decades of experience in technical materials for the global footwear industry, longstanding relationships with leading international brands, and proven commercial, operational and manufacturing capabilities across key international markets. Sunfeng brings deep expertise in functional apparel materials, material innovation and established relationships within China’s outdoor and performance apparel sector.

Expanding global capabilities through innovation and manufacturing scale
Cosmo Sunfeng’s portfolio includes PFAS-free waterproof and breathable materials, functional yarn technologies for warmth, and moisture-management and cooling fabrics, supporting the needs of outdoor, sportswear and lifestyle brands.
The company is also expanding its manufacturing footprint through new facilities in Vietnam and Indonesia.

Ryan Chang, Managing Director
Ryan Chang brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across advanced materials and specialty chemicals in Asia Pacific. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of a China-based joint venture and Commercial and Sales Director for Greater China at Chemours. He has extensive experience leading commercial organisations, building customer relationships and driving growth across international markets.
Renee Henry, Sales Director, United States
Renee Henry brings more than three decades of leadership experience in outdoor apparel and performance materials. Most recently Commercial Director at Bemis Associates, she led a North and Central America business serving leading global brands, including Nike, The North Face, lululemon, Arc’teryx and Patagonia. She previously held senior commercial positions at W. L. Gore & Associates and The North Face.
Zoltan Kelemen, Sales Director, Europe
Zoltan Kelemen brings more than 18 years of commercial leadership experience across sportswear, footwear and performance materials. Most recently Sales Director at D3O, he built the company’s global footwear business and secured partnerships with leading premium brands. He has also held senior leadership positions at PrimaLoft and Under Armour.
