The 3rd Bangladesh Sustainability Excellence Awards recognized six companies and three young humanitarians for their sustainable initiatives. Unilever Bangladesh, Bata Shoe Company, Lafarge-Holcim, Shanta Holdings, Grameenphone, and Banglalink received awards in various categories. Additionally, three young change makers, Arifur Rahman Shihab, Lamia Tanzim Tanha, and Arian Arif, were honored as Young Humanitarians of the Year.
The awards were presented by The Daily Star and CSR Window Bangladesh, aim to inspire corporate and individual efforts that contribute to societal and environmental well-being. The ceremony took place at Le Méridien Dhaka, with Syed Manzur Elahi, chairman of Syed Manzur Elahi Enterprise, presenting the awards.
