BEE-TOGETHER successfully completed 15th edition of contract manufacturing event

The BEE-TOGETHER.ru business platform, organized by the Russian Association of of Fashion Industry Participants (RAFI) with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the My Business National Project to support small and medium-sized businesses, has been held twice a year since 2016.

On June 7th and 8th, the 15th International business platform for outsourcing in the light industry BEE-TOGETHER.ru took place in Moscow. The event brought together a record number of exponents – 185 companies from 14 countries presented their services in contract manufacturing as well as a range of textiles and components.

The 15th edition was attended by sewing and knitting enterprises, manufacturers of footwear and accessories, suppliers of fabrics, accessories and other materials as well as equipment for light industry from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Turkey, China, Bangladesh, Egypt, India and other countries.

“The international business platform BEE-TOGETER.ru has approached another round date – we are meeting for the 15th time. For more than seven years the platform has been helping the fashion industry in Russia, the EAEU and CIS countries, Turkey, China and other countries to grow and develop,” – notes Tatiana Belkevich, President of RAFI. – This season we have been visited by many representatives of embassies and other officials who understand that the shortest way to the Russian market is through contract manufacturing. Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Egypt are opening doors for Russian players to develop business and work together.”

The official opening ceremony of the 15th edition of BEE-TOGETHER.ru was attended by Minister of the Embassy of Sri Lanka Chamila Jayarathna, Minister Plenipotentiary of Egypt in Moscow Yasser Mohamed Ahmed Moustafa, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Russian Federation Marwa Ahmed Elsayed Lasheen, First Secretary (Economic and Commercial) of the Embassy of India in the Russian Federation Ved Prakash Singh, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Russia Molla Saleheen Shiraj, Representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Russian Federation Ahmet Onur Ozturk, Member of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Association of Exporters of Ready-Made Clothing and
Textiles (IHKIB) Mithat Samsama, Commercial Attache of Tunisia Export Hela Khannashi, Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation Nurbek Amanzholovich Atakanov, Counselor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation Ermek Sotsialovich Omuraliev, President of the Beijing Yabaolu International Chamber of Commerce (BYICC) Ma Shuang and others.

Negotiations with exhibitors of the 15th BEE-TOGETHER.ru were held by 1270 representatives of brands, networks, corporate customers. Among them are such wellknown market players as Melon Fashion Group, Familia, SberMarket, BTK Group, Concept group, Gulliver, Belka Fur, Leomax, COZY HOME, Ushatava, X5 retail group, Stockmann, Voentorg, Finn Flare, Bosco. According to the PROfashion survey, 81.7% of visitors were clothing brands, 20.7% were marketplace suppliers, 8.5% were customers of corporate products, uniforms, merchandise and 4.9% were federal chains and department stores. The majority (56%) of potential customers were interested in circulations from 100 to 1000 units, 31% needed batches from 1000 units. and above, 22.6% – up to 100 units.

The next – 16th – edition of the BEE-TOGETHER.ru International Business Platform will be held on November 21–22, 2023 in Moscow. Associations of Turkey, China, Egypt, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, exponents from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, India, Bangladesh and other countries have already confirmed their participation. For foreign companies this exhibition is the shortest way to the Russian market, to the largest retail chains, for each participant there are broad prospects for business development.
