Chinese-owned Alpen Banyan Garments BD Company Limited has signed an agreement to invest $109 million in the BEPZA Economic Zone.
The signing took place in Dhaka, with Mo. Ashraful Kabir, BEPZA member (Investment Development), and Li Tianing, director of Alpen Banyan Garments, representing their respective organizations. BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, along with other officials including members Mohammad Faruk Alam, A N M Faizul Haque, Mo. Khurshid Alam, and ASM Anwar Parvez, were present at the event.
