Economist Claudia Goldin from Harvard University received this year Nobel prize in Economics
Claudia Goldin, professor of economics at Harvard University, won the Nobel Prize in Economics this year. She was given the award in recognition of advancing people’s understanding of the impact of the women’s labor market. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences of Switzerland announced his name yesterday at 3:45 pm Bangladesh time. Claudia Goldin was to join the show live. Only two women have won the Nobel Prize in Economics before. They are Elinor Ostrom and Esther Duflo. In 2009, American Elinor Ostrom became the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Economics. France’s Esther Duflo joined this list in 2019. Claudia Goldin was born in 1946 in New York, USA. In 1972, he received his PhD from the University of Chicago.
