Rohit Aggarwal has been appointed to the Management Board of Lenzing Group and will become CEO following Stephan Sielaff’s departure. Aggarwal, who has extensive experience in the global textile and chemical industries, aims to strengthen Lenzing’s position in sustainable fiber markets and expand its business and iconic brands. The Supervisory Board appointed him to oversee the fiber division in the third quarter, and he will take over as CEO after Sielaff leaves, which will be by the end of March 2025 at the latest.
Aggarwal is recognized for his strategic development of international markets and leadership in the textile and chemical sectors, with experience in Europe, the USA, and Asia. Cord Prinzhorn, chairman of the Supervisory Board, praised Sielaff’s leadership through challenging times and welcomed Aggarwal’s appointment, emphasizing his profound knowledge of the textile markets and environmentally friendly fibers.
Stephan Sielaff expressed pride in his tenure and confidence in Lenzing’s future, while Aggarwal looks forward to his new role and the opportunity to build on Lenzing’s strong foundation and expand its business.
