Sonovia's Revolutionary Denim Dyeing Technology - Press Opportunity

Sonovia’s denim dyeing technology dramatically reduces environmental pollution in the fashion and jeans industry, according to a comparative study carried out by an external body. According to the study, the company’s technology reduces 60% of greenhouse gas emissions, 85% of water use, 99% of polluting wastewater, and 90% of land utilization, compared to the traditional industrial dyeing process of jeans. The comparative study was carried out following the decision of the French luxury giant Kring, which owns brands such as Gucci and Saint Laurent, to promote the integration of Sonovia’s technology in the production of jeans for elite brands.

The company estimates that the findings of the research indicate substantial advantages for the company’s jeans dyeing technology compared to traditional solutions and it is expected to help it market the technology it developed to the jeans industry in the world and to leading brands in the field of fashion as well as, among international investors. This, in light of the technology’s advantages in the aspects of reducing production costs, reducing wastewater treatment, regulation, and sustainable branding.

The comparative study was carried out during the last months by “MADE2FLOW”, which specializes in testing the environmental effects of the production processes in the textile industry.

The pollution problem of the textile industry is a fundamental problem that most fashion brands and manufacturers in the world are investing in developing technologies to solve. To the best of the company’s knowledge, there are currently no other technologies in the field of textile dyeing that can provide a significant response to the need to reduce water use, greenhouse gas emissions, and polluting wastewater, as well as to reduce land use in textile production processes.

CEO of Sonovia, Yigal Zayton: “The research findings indicate dramatic advantages for the company’s jeans dyeing technology compared to traditional solutions and it is expected to help us market the technology we developed to the world’s jeans industry and to leading brands in the fashion field. Sonovia’s technology will reduce production costs for jeans manufacturers, reduce wastewater and reduce its treatment and help the entire textile industry meet regulatory standards. Sonovia continues to vigorously lead the green revolution to reduce pollution and increase sustainability in the fashion industry.”
