Target Corporation revealed its new leadership management

Target Corporation has announced key leadership appointments effective July 7. Rick Gomez, currently chief commercial officer, will oversee Target’s merchandising division. Christina Hennington, currently chief growth officer, will become the chief strategy and growth officer. Early in 2025, Lisa Roath, Target’s chief marketing officer, will take on the role of chief merchandising officer for food, necessities, and cosmetics, while continuing her current role until a replacement is found.

CEO Brian Cornell emphasized that these changes aim to sustain long-term profitable growth. Hennington will work closely with Cornell and other leaders to advance Target’s expansion strategy. Gomez will manage all aspects of merchandising, including brand sourcing, design, and product categories.
