Taskeen Ahmed, Vice Chairman of IFAD Group, has been elected as the President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) for 2025. Alongside him, Razeev H Chowdhury was elected as Senior Vice President, and Md Salem Sulaiman as Vice President. Taskeen Ahmed has been with IFAD Group, a leading conglomerate in automotive, food processing, and consumer goods, for 25 years.
The elections took place at DCCI’s 63rd Annual General Meeting in Motijheel. Additionally, six new directors were elected for the 2025-2027 term: Enamul Haque Patwary, Mostafa Kamal, Minhaj Ahmed, Muhammad Zamsher Ali, Rasheed Mymunul Islam, and Salman Bin Rashid Shah Sayeem.
