China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that they will start issuing all types of visas from March 15. It has also been reported that the places in China where foreigners could enter without a visa before Corona, they will get that benefit again.
At the same time, luxury ships have also been allowed to enter Chinese ports including Shanghai. Group travel is permitted in 40 countries. However, the names of USA, Japan, Australia and South Korea are not among these countries. All other countries had already relaxed their corona policies. China eventually did too. Newly appointed Prime Minister Li Kuiyang said that China has properly changed its corona policy in the past two months. According to the United Nations, 65.7 million foreign nationals visited China in 2019.
