A delegation from the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country’s premier trade organization, is currently in the UK to participate in the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Conference. Led by FBCCI President Mr. Mahbubul Alam, the delegation comprises 44 businessmen representing various sectors in Bangladesh.
The visit is anticipated to play a pivotal role in fortifying trade and investment ties among Commonwealth countries. The FBCCI delegation is set to engage in significant events throughout the tour.
On the first day, FBCCI President Mr. Mahbubul Alam will participate in the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Conference. Additionally, he will serve as a panelist in a roundtable meeting titled ‘Tech and Innovation: Enabling Trade’ on the second day of the conference. The FBCCI delegation plans to meet with the UK Bangladesh Catalysts of Commerce and Industry (UKBCCI) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Other scheduled activities include a Business to Business (BTB) meeting involving Bangladeshi and UK businessmen and bilateral discussions with various UK business representatives. The delegation is expected to conclude its visit, departing from London for Dhaka on November 29.
