23rd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2025 Kicks Off today

23rd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2025, the winter edition, commenced today at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Purbachal, Dhaka.
Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau and Administrator of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), inaugurated the event as the chief guest, as per a press release.
Jointly organized by CEMS-Global USA and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT-TEX), the exhibition has drawn industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from around the world, providing a global platform for showcasing advancements in yarn and fabric technology.
Prominent attendees included Mohammad Hatem, President of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association; Md Shahidul Islam, Director General of the Department of Textiles; Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Secretary and Executive Member of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA); Song Yang, Commercial Consul of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh; and Zhang Jiang, Secretary of CCPIT-TEX.
The event was also graced by Meherun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA and Asia Pacific, along with Zhang Tao, Vice-President of CCPIT-TEX, and other distinguished guests. The exhibition underscores Bangladesh’s role as a global hub for textile innovation, promoting international collaboration and growth in the sector.
