Bangladesh is hosting International trade summit in Mid-May

4th International Trade Summit is set to take place in Dhaka next month, showcasing a significant step forward for business development in the region. Scheduled for May 14-15 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, the two-day summit will focus on the theme “Sustainable Future”.

Organized jointly by Bangladesh and India, the event will draw around 500 delegates from over 25 countries worldwide. BigMint, in collaboration with both nations, will oversee the summit, with Ahmed Enterprise from Bangladesh serving as the host.

The conference is expected to be inaugurated by Industries Minister Nurul Mojid Mahmud Humayun. Special guests will include presidents from leading associations in sectors such as steel, cement, power, and ship recycling, alongside prominent industrialists and ship breakers. Discussions at the summit will cover various topics including Bangladesh’s macroeconomic outlook, international availability of steel raw materials, green ship recycling potential, cement raw material procurement, and renewable energy and regional power cooperation.
