A Chinese technical textile manufacturer named Jehung Medical Products (BD) ltd. is making their new factory in Bangladesh at BEPZA – Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority, economic zone in Chittogong district. Jehong is planning to double its monthly production capacity to around 0.8 million pieces. Their new factory will have 21,000 square feet which will come in operation later this year.
They had started their project in Bangladesh back in 2019, they produce patient gowns, lab jackets, isolation gowns, coverall, scrub suits etc. Jehung will invest 10 million USD for setting up their new factory and expected to make employment for 2,000 people.
