Envoy Textiles Limited experienced a year-on-year profit of 433% to Tk 50.15 crore in the financial year of 2021-22, according to the media reports.
The company made a profit of Tk 9.39 crore a year earlier.
The country’s prominent textile manufacturer reported earnings per share of Tk 2.99 for 2021-22, way higher than the Tk 0.56 of the fiscal year 2020-21.
In addition, the net asset value per share rose to Tk38.21 in the last financial year from Tk37.79 in FY20 while the net operating cash flow per share returned to a positive territory at Tk3.43 from a negative Tk2.25 during the period.
According to the reports, the board of directors has recommended a 15% cash dividend for the year that ended on June 30.
Envoy Textiles also published its unaudited financial statements for the first three quarters of the current financial year.
It showed profit fell nearly 30% year-on-year to Tk 8.89 crore in January-March of 2022-23. It was Tk 12.58 crore during the same nine-month of 2021-22. So, the EPS fell to Tk 0.53 from Tk 0.75.
Shares of Envoy Textiles rose 2.28% to Tk 44.90 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange.
