Hohenstein Institute Bangladesh and Southeast University Partner to Empower Textile Professionals
Dhaka, Bangladesh – Hohenstein Institute Bangladesh and the Department of Textile Engineering at Southeast University have joined forces to nurture the next generation of textile industry leaders. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed today, outlining a collaborative partnership that will focus on internships, training and workshops, research and development, and other initiatives.
Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Regional Chief (Southeast Asia) of Hohenstein Group, and Prof. Engr. Mashud Ahmed, Chairman of the Department of Textile Engineering and Dean (Acting) School of Science and Engineering, Southeast University, signed the MOU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Hohenstein Group, renowned for its commitment to supporting students and fostering talent, expressed its enthusiasm for the partnership. This collaboration will provide Southeast University students with invaluable opportunities to gain practical experience, enhance their skills, and contribute meaningfully to the growth of the textile industry.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Prof. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of Southeast University; Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Major General Kazi Fakruddin Ahmed (Retd.), Registrar; Prof. Dr. Engr. ANM Ahmed Ullah and other faculty members of Southeast University; and Mrs. Johny Yasmin Kanta, Ms. Aklima Khatun, and Md. Mayen from Hohenstein Bangladesh.
