IAF & SPESA to host 38th World Fashion Convention in Philadelphia
The International Apparel Federation (IAF) and the Sewn Products Equipment and Suppliers of the Americas (SPESA) along with the support of the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) will be jointly organizing the 38th World Fashion Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This is the first time in two decades that an IAF convention will again be held in North America.
The hosts have invited representatives from the industry to attend the 38th World Fashion Convention from October 23-25, 2023.
The theme of the convention is ‘Our Industry in Transition: Building Stronger, Smarter, and More Sustainable Supply Chains’, the IAF and SPESA said in a joint press release.
The 2023 edition of the convention aims to bring together the full global supply chain, including US, Canadian, and European brands; (Latin) American, European, African, and Asian manufacturers as well as solution and technology providers, educators, and policymakers.
About 300 delegates from over 20 countries are expected to attend the event.
The convention, which will take place at the Bellevue hotel in Philadelphia, includes a 1.5-day conference, an off-site festive dinner, a business matchmaking activity, and the IAF Golf Tournament.
IAF organized the 37th World Fashion Convention in Dhaka in 2022 jointly with the BGMEA and BKMEA.
