Japan is launching shopping points

Japan to launch online shopping point service to encourage contactless delivery. The government of the country has taken this initiative for the convenience of customers who do not want to take home delivery and to reduce the suffering of delivery workers. Said Japanese news Mainichi.

The Japanese government aims to reduce the amount of redelivery in the 2024 fiscal year, which begins next April. Because after ordering online, when the customer is not at home or does not respond, the product has to be sent again. The country’s government wants to reduce the rate of waste of time and labor. Fumio Kashida government has recently undertaken a project for this purpose. This allows customers who don’t want to take delivery to their doorstep, to collect it from a convenient point. In this case, they have to select convenient time and place while ordering online.
