Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Mr. Iwama Kiminori expressed Japan’s interest in investing more in Bangladesh’s manufacturing sector during a meeting with Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury.
Japanese government also aims to enhance connections between Bangladeshi and Japanese universities and is interested in retraining Bangladeshi students for employment in Japan’s robotics and manufacturing sectors. Minister Mr. Mohibul pledged support for Japanese initiatives to enhance Bangladeshi students’ skills through IT, technical, and vocational training. He also showed interest in introducing Japanese language courses in universities and a teacher exchange program to improve secondary-level education in Bangladesh.
