LENZING received sustainability award from Vienna stock exchange

Lenzing Group, a top supplier of regenerated cellulose fibers, won the Vienna Stock Exchange VÖNIX Sustainability Award for top listed companies in the ‘Industrials’ category. This award recognizes exceptional sustainability performance in the capital market. Lenzing achieved the highest score in its category according to the Austrian Sustainability Index.

Christian Skilich of the Lenzing Group highlighted the company’s dedication to making industries more sustainable and transitioning from a linear to a circular economy. Lenzing’s sustainability efforts have also been recognized by other organizations. For the third consecutive year, they earned a place on the CDP’s ‘A list’ in all categories, making them one of only ten companies globally to achieve triple ‘A’ status. Additionally, Lenzing received platinum status from EcoVadis, placing them in the top one percent of companies worldwide, and an ‘AA’ rating from MSCI, ranking them in the top eight percent of their peer group.
