Red Forest Ltd., a Chinese company investing $2.26 million in Export Processing Zone (EPZ)
Red Forest Ltd., a Chinese firm, is poised to establish a manufacturing facility for wigs and carnival costumes within the Uttara Export Processing Zone in Bangladesh, with a committed investment of $2.26 million. As per an announcement from the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza), Red Forest’s objective is to produce 4.09 million units of wigs and carnival costumes each year, providing employment opportunities for 379 Bangladeshi citizens.
The agreement for this venture was recently signed at the Bepza Complex in Dhaka by Mohammad Faruque Alam, Bepza’s Engineering Member, and Li Chao, the Director of Red Forest Ltd. The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, the Executive Chairman of Bepza.
