The USA imports kidswear worth $1.40 billion in H1 ’22
The USA imported Kidswear worth $1.40 billion in the January-June period of 2022, noting a year-on-year growth of 26.54%, as per the latest data released by OTEXA.
According to the data, the import of kidswear from China, India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam has increased significantly and India witnessed the highest growth rate of 42.36% among all top shippers.
Bangladesh’s shipment to the USA in kids’ clothing experienced a surge of 20% to $153.30 million during the said period, data said.
India shipped kidswear if worth $246 million to the USA in the H1’22 which is second only to China that shipped worth $320 million to the destination.
Vietnam has been reviving its shipment of kids’ clothing after an unexpected fall noticed in January ’22.
The US imports of kidswear from Vietnam reached $210 million in H1 ’22, growing by around 27.30%, Otexa data said.
