According to the governmental circular, the following industrial zone will be closed on Thursday.
On Thursday, the industrial areas under BPDB like Shikalbaha, Jaldah, Patia, Cox’s Bazar of Chattogram, Ashuganj Fertilizer of Brahmonbaria will be closed.
Under BREB, industries of Kaliakair, Nandan Park, Kanchanpur, Rajashan, Majidpur, Imandipur of Savar, Kaliganj, Rajendrapur, Faugan, Satiabari, Dhaladia of Gazipur, Washpur, Nurarchar, Kalmarchar, Nayabazar of Keraniganj, Jagir of Manikganj, Sonargaon, Nayapur, Chengain, Akhalia, Gopaldi of Narayanganj, BSCIC Industrial Estate of Narsingdi,Chandnaish, Garduyara, Katirhat of Chattogram will enjoy the weekly holiday on Thursday.
Moreover, industrial areas of Siddhirganj and Demra under DPDC, industries of Tilarghati, Satash Chowrasta, Nayapara, Uttarkhan and Dakhinkhan I/A under DESCO will also be closed on Thursday.
Under WZPDC, Khajanagar I/A of Kushtia will be shut on Thursday.
Earlier, the government on August 11 fixed different weekly holidays in industrial zones across the country to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
