According to the governmental circular, the following industrial zone will be shut on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, the industrial areas under BPDB like Mirersorai (BSRM) of Chattogram, Chhatak of Sylhet will be closed.
Under BREB, Nabingar, Palashbari, Baipail of Savar, Kalampur of Dhamria, Abddullahpur, Rajendrapur, Pubail of Gazipur, Mirzapur, and Ghatail of Tangail, Meghanghat and Murapara I/A of Narayanganj under BREB to enjoy the holiday on Saturday.
Moreover, Shitalakkhya and Kamrangirchar under DPDC, Mirpur-12 I/A under DESCO will also be closed on Saturday.
On Sunday, factories of Fauzdarhat, Barolia, Barabkunda, Kumira of Chattogram, and BSCIC Estate of Sylhet under BPDB will be shut.
Under BREB, industries of Ashulia, Birulia, Kalma, Khagan, Harindhara, Tannery area of Savar, Kashimpur, Banglabazar, Nayapara, Bahadurpur of Gazipur, Mawa and Dogachi of Munshiganj, BSCIC Industrial Estate, Kanchpur, Araihazar, and Adhuria of Narayanagaj, Algi, Hasnabad, Raipura of Narsingdi, Muktagacha of Mymensingh, Lohagara of Chattogram will enjoy the holiday on Sunday.
Industries under the DPDC area of Jurain, Kajla, Postogola, and Tejgaon will also be shut on Sunday.
Tongi East Thana, National Tubes, BISF, Rupnagar I/A, and Badda I/A under DESCO will be shut on Sunday.
Under WZPDC, the BSCIC Industrial Estate of Khulna will be closed on Sunday.
Rajshahi circles 1 & 2, Natore, and Chapai under NESCO will also be shut on the same day.
Earlier, the government on Thursday fixed different weekly holidays in industrial zones across the country to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
