ACIMIT confirms 66% rising of orders for Italian textile machineries in quarter three 2021

Compiled and released information on third quarter of 2021 by Association of Italian textile machinery manufacturer (ACIMIT), said they had seen 66% rise on orders of Italian textile machinery between July and September, 2021, compared the same period in 2020. Index value stood at 119.8 points.
Alessandro Zucchi, president of ACIMIT said, ‘’Number of order remain positive in spite of a slight decline compared to the months prior to the summer period. They had been able to adapt as they showed flexibility to catch the new market and the growth includes both Italian and foreign markets, with a 130% increase in domestic orders compared to the same period in 2020.”
“The resumption in trade show attendance we’ve witnessed has improved the climate of confidence among companies. However, we need to make the most of this moment, since the difficulties are not yet entirely behind us. In particular, we must continue on the path of digitalization and sustainability,” concluded Zucchi.
