Bangladesh Bank has asked for applications for digital banks

Banking Sector reformation is a must now

The central bank has asked for applications from those interested in establishing a digital bank. Application will be taken online. This application has been called by publishing a circular on the website of Bangladesh Bank on Thursday last.

Bangladesh Bank has opened a separate page on its website for online submission of applications. Those interested can go there and submit the application. A non-refundable deposit of five lakh taka has to be submitted to Bangladesh Bank for the application fee.
