Bangladesh bank in an announcement revised working hours during coming Ramadan, saying banking transactions will continue for clients from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Employees will have a 15-minutes break for prayers. It was published by the central bank on its websites on 15th March, 2023. Banks will be open till 4:00 pm.
Working hours for government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous offices have been slashed by half an hour. They will stay open from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
Ramadan is scheduled to begin on March 24th according to the moon sight.
