Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which the hotel will serve as the Hospitality Partner for BATEXPO 2026.
Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Director, BGMEA and Chief Coordinator of the BATEXPO Steering Committee, and Khondoker Zayed Ahsan, Managing Director of Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, signed the agreement at the hotel in Dhaka.
Sajedul Karim, Chairman of BGMEA’s Standing Committee on Trade Fair & Events and a member of the BATEXPO Steering Committee, along with Ashwani Nayar, Area General Manager of IHG South West Asia and Cluster General Manager of Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport and InterContinental Dhaka Airport, attended the signing ceremony.
Under the partnership, international guests attending BATEXPO 2026 will be accommodated at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, supporting a comfortable and convenient stay during the event.
Organized by BGMEA, BATEXPO 2026 is expected to bring together international buyers, apparel industry leaders, policymakers, development partners, media professionals and influencers. The event will showcase Bangladesh’s garment industry capabilities, highlight innovation, and create opportunities for collaboration and new business connections.
