The 15th edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo is starting today. This time 12 countries will participate in this event. Bangladesh Denim Expo will be held at Bashundhara International Convention City in the capital till tomorrow. More than 80 institutions from 12 countries including Bangladesh, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Germany, Vietnam, Japan, India, Singapore and Switzerland will participate in this event.
The companies will exhibit their own invented and manufactured textiles, garments, yarns, machinery, finishing equipment and accessories. Mr. Mostafiz Uddin, founder and chief executive officer of Bangladesh Denim Expo, said, “The aim of organizing Bangladesh Denim Expo is simply to enable companies to create new opportunities in their business, to establish mutual business connections and to learn more about various important aspects of the industry.”
In this two-day expo, several discussion meetings and ‘trend seminars’ will be held in addition to the product exhibition. The titles of the four seminars held at the fair are the position and way forward of Bangladesh garment industry in 2030, sustainable changes in the denim industry, what can be done to unlock the potential of this industry and the development and utilization of human resources to achieve the export target of 100 billion dollars.
