Walmart has invested about 40 million USD in India

US retail company Walmart has invested 40 million dollars in India. The company said that this money has been invested since 2018 in improving the quality of life of the country’s farmers. They have targeted 800,000 farmers through 500 organizations in India. Last March, the Arkansas-based retail giant announced a five-year strategy.
