According to the governmental circular, the following industrial zone will be closed on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the industrial areas under BPDB like Bayezid Bostami, Jalalabad, and Khulshi of Chattogram, and BSCIC of Mymensingh will be closed.
Under BREB, industries of Chandra, Boraibari, Fulbaria, Rajaghat, Tetuljhora and Nayarhat of Savar, Boardbazar, Shirirchala, Naljani, Membarbari, Indrapur of Gazipur, Kandapara, Teghoria, Bangram of Keraniganj, Muktarpur of Munshiganj, Barpa and Duptara of Narayanganj, Madhabdi, Shekherchar, and Narsingdi Bazar of Narsingdi, Karnaphuli and Charia of Chattogram will enjoy the weekly holiday on Wednesday.
Moreover, industrial areas of Fatullah and Matuail under DPDC, industries of Satash, Khapra Bazar, BATBC Factories, Banani and Mohakhali I/A under DESCO will also be closed on Wednesday.
Under WZPDC, BSCIC Industrial Estate of Kushtia will be shut on Wednesday.
Earlier, the government on August 11 fixed different weekly holidays in industrial zones across the country to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
