The 20th edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo will begin on June 10 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, bringing together global stakeholders to discuss the future of the denim and apparel industry.

The two-day exhibition will be inaugurated by Commerce, Industries, Textile and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir. More than 50 exhibitors from 10 countries are expected to showcase innovative products and solutions across the entire denim value chain, from fabrics to finishing technologies.

This year’s theme, “Frontline to Future,” highlights Bangladesh’s journey from being a leading global apparel manufacturing hub to becoming a future-focused, sustainable, and innovation-driven sourcing destination.

Speaking ahead of the event, Bangladesh Denim Expo Founder and CEO Mostafiz Uddin said the exhibitors would present not only innovative products but also ideas that are shaping the future of the global denim industry.

The expo will also feature five panel discussions covering key issues such as post-LDC trade agreements, just transition in the apparel sector, product diversification, green investment opportunities, and Bangladesh’s global competitiveness. Policymakers, international buyers, industry leaders, and experts from home and abroad will participate in the sessions.

Organizers believe the event will serve as a platform to explore new opportunities and strengthen Bangladesh’s position in the evolving global denim and apparel market.
