BARMEG launches new 6020 ceramic oiler for enhanced low-titer yarn production

BARMAG has introduced its new Type 6020 Ceramic Oiler, a high-performance solution designed to improve the production of PA6 and PA6.6 yarns in low-titer applications ranging from 5 to 100 denier.
The new ceramic oiler features a filament-friendly yarn inlet that applies spin-finish before the yarn contacts the ceramic surface, helping ensure fluff-free processing and reducing yarn damage. Its integrated ceramic shaft eliminates common issues such as clogged oil lines and detached ceramic parts, while optimized yarn guidance delivers uniform spin-finish application with minimal spray-off.
According to Barmag, the 6020 Ceramic Oiler enhances yarn quality, process stability, and production efficiency by increasing spin-finish application rates, reducing material losses, and minimizing oil contamination in production areas. The design also simplifies threading and enables quick, precise adjustments during operation.
Field trials with international customers have demonstrated spray-off-free processing, more consistent yarn tension, and an approximately 23% increase in spin-finish application compared with conventional solutions. The oiler also performed successfully in demanding PET POY full-dull and flat yarn applications, delivering stable operation without loops or broken filaments.
With the launch of the Type 6020 Ceramic Oiler, BARMAG aims to provide filament producers with a reliable solution that improves yarn quality, operational reliability, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
