BAYLA future summit 2026 concludes on a high note, showcasing AI, innovation and future leadership

The two-day BAYLA Future Summit 2026 concluded yesterday at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, bringing together more than 1,500 participants, including over 500 CXOs, policymakers, diplomats, entrepreneurs, academics and young professionals to discuss the future of Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.

Organized by the Bangladesh Apparel Youth Leaders Alliance (BAYLA) under the theme “Think Beyond Today,” the summit featured more than 20 local and international speakers who shared insights on artificial intelligence (AI), Industry 4.0, circular economy, sustainability, finance, innovation and future-ready leadership. Distinguished guests included the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Bangladesh, senior government officials, industry leaders and representatives from global organizations.

A key attraction of the summit was the technology exhibition, where leading AI and automation companies showcased advanced digital solutions, including traceability, smart manufacturing, robotics and factory automation technologies for the textile and apparel sector.
The event also hosted the BAYLA Future Leaders 2026 national case competition, providing university students with an opportunity to present innovative solutions to real industry challenges before business leaders and experts.

Concluding the summit, BAYLA reaffirmed its commitment to developing future industry leaders, promoting sustainable manufacturing and accelerating the adoption of digital technologies to strengthen Bangladesh’s position as a globally competitive and responsible apparel sourcing destination.
