Bangladesh Investment Development Authority-BIDA has introduced a new Innovation category in its prestigious Excellence in Investment Award to recognize innovation-driven enterprises shaping the country’s investment landscape.
- New award structure:
Starting this year, the award will honor achievements in local investment, foreign investment, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), and the newly added innovation category.
- Application deadline:
Firms in innovation-led sectors were invited to apply online, with the deadline set for today, 27th March.
- Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025:
The awards will be presented during the Bangladesh Investment Summit on April 9, 2025, at InterContinental Dhaka.
- Encouraging Entrepreneurship:
BIDA Executive Chairman Ashik Chowdhury emphasized that this new category aims to support startups, disruptors, and visionaries contributing to Bangladesh’s economic growth.
The initiative highlights BIDA’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial impact and breakthrough innovation in the country’s investment ecosystem.
