FBCCI says Europe-Bangladesh chamber to expand their trade soon

Mr. Jashim Uddin, President of FBCCI said recently to several media that Europe-Bangladesh chamber of Commerce (EBCC) will be formed soon to facilitate to make familiar Bangladeshi products other than readymade garment (RMG).

He added while at the discussion at FBCCI, the new trade body might be form by July, 2022. There are many products other than RMG that might be much appreciated to the consumer level who are Bangladesh expatriate living different countries in the EU. He also added that there are many Bangladeshi entrepreneurs living in Europe and doing business over there and he urged them to invest in the special economic zones in to their homeland, Bangladesh, specifically he was highlighting country’s infrastructure, power efficiency and investment friendly policies, as he said Bangladesh is increasing its FDI day by day.

PWC, an institute is conducting a study on London market under FBCCI’s initiatives and the result of the survey report will be coming out with in a few months and based on the report, FBCCI will take measures to set up the policies over EU market. He also urged France-Bangladesh economic chamber to project the image of Bangladesh to France. November last year, FBCCI had signed MoU with MEDEF international (Mouvement des Entreprises de France International) and France-Bangladesh Economic Chamber in Paris.
