Mohammad Ali Khokon Re-elected as President of BTMA for the term ‘2023-2025

Mr. Mohammad Ali Khokon, Chairman of Maxsons Group, has been re-elected as the President of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA). In an unopposed election for the term 2023-25, Mr. Khokon was elected as the President once again, as confirmed by BTMA in a statement.

The statement also mentioned that Mr. Abul Bashar, the Chairman of the Election Commission, announced the names of the President, three Vice-Presidents, and 23 Directors who were elected unopposed. The three Vice-Presidents elected are Managing Director of Israk Textile Mills Limited, Mr. Fazlul Haque from the yarn production category, the Chairman of Jaz Bhuiyan Group, Mr. Faizur Rahman Bhuiyan from the Fabrics Manufacturing Category, and Mr. Saleud Zaman Khan, , one of the founders of NZ Group, representing the dyeing-printing category.

Additionally, the following individuals have been elected as Directors: Mr. Mosharraf Hossain, Md. Monir Hossain, Syed Enayet Kabir, M. Solaiman, Md. Khorshed Alam, Md. Masood Rana, Engineer Rajib Haider, Monalisa Mannan, Engineer Ishtehak Ahmed Saikat, B.M. Shoaib, Md. Shahid Alam, Azizur R. Chowdhury, Ahmed Shahriar Rahman, Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Abdullah Al Mamun, Syed Nurul Islam, Nur-e-Yasmin Fatima, Anaf Aziz, Md. Kamrul Hasan, Abdul Wadud Chowdhury, Md. Azhar Khan, Rashedul Hasan Rintu, and Matiur Rahman.
