Stäubli to consolidate U.S. operations into single legal entity to trengthen North American presence

Stäubli, a global leader in industrial and mechatronic solutions, announced that it will merge its U.S. operations — Stäubli Electrical Connectors in Windsor, California, and Stäubli Corporation in Duncan, South Carolina — into a single legal entity under the name Stäubli Corporation, effective January 1, 2026. The consolidation is aimed at strengthening the company’s North American footprint, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting growth across all divisions in one of its key markets.
Currently, Stäubli operates five legal entities in North America, employing approximately 350 people across engineering, manufacturing, assembly, customer support, service, sales, and training functions. The merger will streamline processes, unify management, and expand capabilities, allowing Stäubli to deliver integrated solutions across its divisions: Electrical Connectors, Fluid Connectors, Robotics, and Textile.
As part of the merger, the Windsor site will transform from a dedicated Electrical Connectors facility into a multi-division hub, serving West Coast customers with enhanced service, engineering support, and training. The main U.S. operations canter in Duncan, South Carolina, will continue as the company’s headquarters. Stäubli also maintains additional offices in Querétaro, Mexico, and Novi, Michigan.
Gerald Vogt, CEO of Stäubli Group, commented: “By integrating all U.S. divisions under one organization, we accelerate growth, foster innovation, and serve our customers more effectively across every area of expertise.”
François Masbou, Managing Director for North America, added: “This consolidation allows us to leverage resources, expertise, and synergies across divisions, delivering greater value and support to our customers in the U.S. and beyond.”
Stäubli Electrical Connectors, originally acquired through the purchase of multi-contact in 2002, has grown into a key pillar of the company. This strategic merger underscores Stäubli’s commitment to strengthening its North American operations while driving innovation and integrated solutions for the region.
