Turkiye signed 50 billion USD contracts with UAE

13 different agreements were signed between UAE and Turkiye during a recent visit of Erdogan to UAE. Mr. Erdogan an Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of UAE hold the talk at the Al Watan palace in Abu Dhabi.

Both the country have been agreed to set up a high level strategic council chaired by President Erdogan and president of UAE. They will be advancing in energy, transportation, infrastructure, logistics, e-commerce, finance, health, food, tourism, real estate, construction, defense industry, artificial intelligence and other advance technologies.

Mehmet Simsek, Turkish treasury and finance minister told that Turkiye plans to unveil a structural reform in September along with its medium term economic program. These two countries signed a 5 billion USD currency swap deal last year to boost Ankara’s dilapidated foreign currency reserve. A free trade agreement was also signed between the two sides in March this year.
