Five innovators recognized as winners of the ITMF Start-up Award 2025

International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) has announced the five winners of the ITMF Start-up Award 2025, who will present their groundbreaking business models at the upcoming ITMF & IAF Conference 2025, scheduled for October 24–25 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The event will be co-hosted by the Indonesia Textile Industry Association (API).

The ITMF Start-up Award aims to give emerging companies a global platform to showcase innovative technologies and connect with established players across the textile value chain, fostering collaboration and industry-wide progress.

The five winners of the 2025 edition, listed alphabetically, are:

  1. Ambercycle (USA) – A Bridge to the Future: Building Circularity
  2. aweXome Ray (Korea) – CNT Fiber Innovation: From Dream Material to Industrial Reality
  3. BYBORRE (Netherlands) – The Last Industry to be Digitized (byborre.com)
  4. Silana (Austria) – From Offshore to On-Demand: How Robotics is Reshaping Fashion Manufacturing (silana.com)
  5. ZymoChem (USA) – Commercialization of Biobased Nylon 66 (zymochem.com)

These start-ups represent the future of textile innovation—pioneering breakthroughs in circularity, digitalization, biobased materials, and robotic manufacturing that are set to redefine the global textile and apparel industry.
