Textile Tech Association started their journey on 15th January 2022 with the main focus on creating a strong community of Textile employees specially women and work on Women’s empowerment in this Textile Industry.
In this short time TTA has already organized some activities to build the connectivity between running textile students, recently graduated and already working in this industry. TTA is planning for an upcoming event and todays press event was to talk about that. The event call “BRANDING BANGLADESH”, this is planned as a yearly event with different focus groups. The tentative date for this upcoming event is 2nd week of January 2023. As the name of the event, this is to promote the strength in design sector as well as the local materials. This event will be consisting of a fashion show to represent design innovations (Local, Western & Fusion) and also a local fabric show. In the 1st year TTA is focusing on the running Textile Students as participant. TTA will reach out to the textile institutions to get the participants in November 2022, in December 2022 it will be time to evaluate and preselection, beginning of January 2023 the selected representors will get the grooming training on design representation from reputed designer in market. There will be a panel of judges and guests in the event mainly from the textile industries and some foreign delicate.
