16th Denim expo to be held at Dhaka on 6th and 7th May

16th edition of the Bangladesh Denim Expo, scheduled for May 6th and 7th at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, revolves around the theme of “Reimagine.” This theme highlights the Expo’s dedication to redefining the future of the denim industry through innovation and digital integration. Mostafiz Uddin, the founder and CEO of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), emphasizes the Expo’s aim to break away from conventional norms and explore new territories in denim design and sustainability.

The event will host over 60 exhibitors from 11 countries, including Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan, and Turkey, among others. Participants span various categories such as fabric mills (denim and non-denim), garment manufacturers, washing laundries, accessories and trims providers, chemical suppliers, and technology and logistics companies.

Key participants include renowned names like Archroma Management LLC, Artistic Milliners (PVT) Ltd, Bluesign Technologies AG, CMA CGM, and YKK Bangladesh Pte Ltd, among others.

Activities planned for the two-day event include an inauguration program, panel discussions, trend seminars, and a trend zone showcasing innovative denim products and upcoming trends. Industry experts and speakers will share insights and discuss topics centered around the theme of “Reimagine,” providing attendees with valuable knowledge on the future of denim.
