Chinese company SANXIN to invest 23 million USD in BEPZA

Chinese company Sanxin Accessories MFC BD Ltd is set to invest $22.92 million to establish an interlining and garment accessories unit at the BEPZA economic zone in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar (BSMSN), Chattogram. This investment aims to produce various items such as interlining, lace, TC pocketing, printing materials, granules, and hot melt adhesive powder, creating approximately 2,346 jobs.

A formal agreement was signed by Md. Ashraful Kabir of the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (Bepza) and Li Li, chairman of the Chinese company, at the BEPZA Complex in Dhaka. Maj Gen Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, executive chairman of Bepza, expressed gratitude towards Sanxin Accessories for their investment and hopes for swift factory construction and production commencement. Several Bepza officials and representatives from the enterprise were present at the signing ceremony.
