Bangladesh to Host "Made in Bangladesh Exhibition-2025" in Brazil

Bangladeshi businesses are set to organize the “Made in Bangladesh Exhibition-2025” in São Paulo, Brazil, from June 15 to 18, aiming to diversify export markets and strengthen bilateral trade ties with Latin American nations. Brazil Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BBCCI) announced the event during a press conference held at Hotel Ascott Palace in Dhaka.

Promoting Economic Collaboration

“This is a vital step toward fostering economic collaboration, providing a platform to showcase excellence and form meaningful partnerships,” said Brazilian Ambassador Paulo Fernando Dias Feres, emphasizing the significance of the initiative.

Md Saiful Alam, Vice President of BBCCI, noted the exhibition’s alignment with global economic growth strategies. “Whether in garments, jute, or pharmaceuticals, this event is a golden opportunity for Bangladeshi exporters to expand their reach,” he said.

Expanding Trade Opportunities

Md Joynal Abdin, Secretary General of BBCCI, highlighted the growing trade potential between the two nations, with bilateral trade reaching $2.53 billion in 2022. The exhibition will feature business-to-business matchmaking, policy discussions, and cultural showcases, focusing on innovation, investment, and trade to create meaningful engagement between stakeholders.

Key Participation

Key dignitaries, including Leonardo de Oliveira Jannuzzi, Deputy Head of Mission at the Brazilian Embassy in Bangladesh, also attended the event, underscoring the significance of this initiative in strengthening ties between Bangladesh and Brazil. ‘Made in Bangladesh Exhibition-2025’ promises to showcase the country’s economic strengths while fostering new opportunities in the Latin American market.
