International textile event GENTEXH 2026 kicks off in Ho Chi Minh city

The highly anticipated GENTEXH 2026 international exhibition opened this week, drawing business leaders, manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals from across the global textile and nonwoven sector.
Scheduled from 11 to 13 March 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, GENTEXH 2026 is the second edition of the specialized trade fair focused on nonwoven fabric technologies and industrial and consumer hygiene products.
Organizers say the three-day event has attracted more than 200 exhibitors and over 5,000 trade visitors from countries including Vietnam, India, China, Taiwan and Germany, making it one of the region’s most significant platforms for networking, sourcing and business development in the nonwoven and textile technology space.
In addition to traditional exhibition booths, GENTEXH 2026 features specialized zones designed to connect manufacturers with retailers, e-commerce platforms and industry partners, offering insights into market trends and opportunities for collaboration.
Participants at the fair include producers of raw materials, machinery suppliers, finished product manufacturers and service providers across the value chain. The event has been positioned by organizers as a key gateway for Asian textile producers and buyers to strengthen supply-chain relationships and explore new markets.
Industry observers say the timing of GENTEXH 2026 comes as global demand for advanced nonwoven and hygiene products continues to grow, driven by expanding healthcare, consumer goods and technical textile applications worldwide. Analysts also note the fair’s rising profile reflects the broader shift within the textile sector toward innovation, sustainability and digital integration.
GENTEXH 2026 is expected to conclude on 13 March, with follow-up business meetings and networking sessions planned to help exhibitors convert leads generated during the show into long-term trade partnerships.
