Italian textile machinery manufacturer Biancalani has won two honours at the Global Business Awards 2026: Most Innovative Fabric Preparation & Finishing Machinery Manufacturer 2026 – Italy and Sustainability Excellence Award 2026 – Italy.
The recognition highlights the company’s focus on innovative fabric finishing technologies and resource-efficient processing.
Biancalani’s portfolio includes AIRO® for washing, drying and softening fabrics; AIRO®24 for continuous open-width drying; AQUARIA® for fabric washing; and AIRBOX for pre-drying and drying. Its IDRA and MILLA machines specialise in wool processing, aiming to reduce processing time and resource consumption while protecting fabric quality.
The company said its achievements reflect the contributions of its engineers, technicians, designers, laboratory team and customers. Since 1957, Biancalani has registered more than 50 international patents, many developed through collaboration with customers.
The awards reinforce the company’s commitment to advancing textile finishing technologies that combine fabric quality, operational efficiency and responsible resource use.
